Based near Bala, North Wales, we developed the first commercial whitewater rafting operation in the UK in 1986, and since then we have grown to become the largest and most well-respected whitewater rafting organisation in the UK. The National White Water Centre is based on the River Tryweryn; a truly wild mountain river in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales. Since pioneering commercial white water rafting in the UK, the centre has hosted several canoeing world championships and remains the nation's favourite white water destination. On offer is a huge array of heart-pumping white water activities for novices and the experienced, which will test your nerve and leave you thoroughly soaked! The Tryweryn is a dam-released river, so water often thunders down its rapids while other rivers are dry, producing year round white water, in a breathtaking natural environment.
